WP-789R is a high-performance, long-range HDBaseT wall plate receiver for 4K@60Hz (4:2:0) HDMI and HDCP 2.2 over twisted pair signals. Converts the transmitted HDBaseT signal to an HDMI signal. Extends video signals up to 40 m (130 ft) over Kramer copper cables at 4K@60Hz (4:2:0) 24 bpp video resolution and provides even greater reach for higher HD video resolutions low. This wall plate is powered via PoE (Power over Ethernet) via twisted pair cable.

  •  High Performance Receiver: Professional HDBaseT receiver to provide long range signals over twisted pair copper infrastructures. WP–789R is a standard extender that can be connected to any HDBaseT compatible extension product available on the market. For optimal reach and extension performance, use recommended Kramer cables.
  •  Reliable PoE (Power over Ethernet) power: Automatically detects the PoE status of the extension line and accepts power from a remote PoE provider, such as a PoE array, with optional mains power from a connected power adapter.
  •  HDMI Signal Extension: Supports HDCP 2.2, Deep Color, xvColor™, Lip Sync, uncompressed HDMI audio channels, Dolby TrueHD, DTS–HD, 2K, 4K and 3D as specified in HDMI 2.0.
  •  EDID Passthrough: Passthrough algorithm ensures Plug and Play operation for HDMI source and display systems.
  •  Multi-channel audio extension: Up to 32 channels of uncompressed digital stereo signals to support studio-quality surround sound.
  •  Low Profile Wall Plate – Designed for sleek wall installation behind a wall-mounted flat panel display. Minimizes installation depth, especially when connected with a Kramer right-angle HDMI cable.
  •  Cost-effective maintenance: LED power and connectivity status indicator makes local maintenance and troubleshooting easy.
  •  Easy installation: Fits into standard size US, EU and UK wall boxes, allowing decorative integration with room-deployed user interfaces such as electrical switches. Wall plate installation is quick and cost-effective via a single twisted pair cable, providing video signal and power (PoE) connections.
