The Shure WH20 is a lightweight, rugged dynamic headset microphone that delivers high-quality voice pickup. Secure fit for active microphone users such as aerobics instructors and musicians, with minimal visibility for stage appearances. The WH20 model is suitable for any voice communications application where convenience and reliability are needed.
The WH20 model has a cardioid (unidirectional) polar pattern. This gives you greater pre-feedback gain and isolation from ambient noise and other unwanted sound sources such as air conditioners, musical instruments and speakers. A carefully shaped frequency response that includes a speech frequency presence peak and low frequency rolloff to compensate for the proximity effect inherent in cardioid microphones when speaking very close to the microphone.
An integrated elastic headband secures it comfortably. The headband, wire frame and gooseneck adjust to fit any head size and shape. The WH20 model includes a foam windscreen.
