The A89U adapter converts any VP89 shotgun condenser microphone from the standard “single stem” configuration to a “double stem” configuration.

Simply detach the VP89 stem from the preamp and attach both stem and preamp to the adapter to reduce its size by up to 15cm in cases where space is at a premium. It can be used with the VP89S, VP89M and VP89L.
