No other BETA 98 models are equipped with an integrated preamplifier. The BETA 98AMP/C has a wider dynamic range, with an SPL 7 dB higher than the BETA 98AD/C or BETA 98A/C. The BETA 98AD/C has been designed for the same applications and instead features an A98D battery mounting system with a flexible arm.
