The SL−280 is a master controller (Kramer Control brain) that can operate over Ethernet and includes the following ports: 8 bidirectional RS−232 ports, 8 IR, 8 GPI/O and 8 relays. You can control devices such as scalers, video monitors, audio amplifiers, blurays, sensors, screens, blinds, doors and lights. Kramer control interfaces can be added to the system to increase the number of input/output ports.

•  8 GPI/O Control Ports — Device control through general purpose input/output ports. These ports can be configured as digital input, digital output or analog input for controlling sensors, ports, audio and lights.
•  8 Relay Ports — Control devices through contact closures, such as opening and closing curtains, blinds and projection screens.
