The components of the upper boxes are mechanically aligned ( Logarithmic Curved Column Array ) with the aim of increasing the coverage of the vertical sound beam. In addition, it has a special “double ring phase corrector” that increases horizontal coverage and gives the system a rich, crystalline sound.
The satellite boxes have a top-to-top sliding joining system that ensures a perfect fit, without risk of incorrect assembly. It also includes the electrical interconnection between the two units.
The ES 503 is incredibly easy to configure, including intuitive help that guides the user step by step and automatically configures the system based on the type of application. Through the advanced graphical interface you access the core of the system, allowing the memorization of preselected configurations, adjustment of levels, equalization and the creation of a post/post gain mix for various purposes. The OLED display, visible even in daylight, is mounted behind an elegant smoked case and provides all the information necessary to control the entire system.
The ES 503 is equipped with a three-channel mixer controlled by an intelligent DSP. The first channel includes a MIC/Instrument combo jack; The second and third channels are LINE inputs with balanced/unbalanced combo connectors. There is a three-band equalizer that, depending on the preselected configuration, works as a general or channel equalizer. A user-storable preset is also available.
The balanced scene monitors or for recording. This output has a notch filter with selectable frequency.
The ES503 is equipped with built-in Bluetooth® stereo streaming that allows the connection of any device (such as mobile phones, tablets or audio players) via a Bluetooth® connection. We can consider them as two more inputs (out of a total of five), although the levels are common to the line inputs.
The bass-reflex houses a generous 12” woofer and the amplifier module. In addition to the input connections, there are two Speakon outputs and a VDE power connection. The robust and stylish case is made of birch plywood covered in a durable black scratch-resistant coating, making it resistant to the wear and tear of touring. Two integrated handles (one on each side) make transportation easy. Finally, the metal grille with foam, in addition to protecting the woofer and giving a professional and elegant image, contributes to the reflex effect. The lower part of the grille, located to the right of the reflex ports, actually has holes with a larger diameter to enhance air flow.
ES503 System Configurations
The ES 503 group is made up of a subwoofer, two speakers, a D25mm pole and a Speakon/Speakon cable to connect the sub to the first box. The pole can be separated into two parts for easy transportation. The system includes a large group of accessories, such as D25mm speaker stands, two 25mm tripod stands with carrying case, a Speakon-Speakon cable kit, trolley with wheels, a case for the ES stops and the D25mm pole, and another cover for the 12” subwoofer.
Three configurations are available:
Option 1: SINGLE mode in column, 1 support mast
Option 2: Stereo SINGLE mode, 2 tripods or a support mast and a tripod
Option 3: DOUBLE mode, 2 ES 503 in column mode
