Featuring the new GSPre boutique preamp design, developed from the revered GS-R24 studio recording console, the ZED boasts exceptionally low noise and enormous headroom, with characteristic analog warmth and depth. Guitarists will be pleased to know that the ZED-6 comes with a pair of high-impedance Guitar DI inputs, allowing guitars to be plugged directly into the mixer without the hassle and expense of carrying separate DI boxes.

ZED-6 features an exceptional new preamp design, created by analog guru Mike Griffin and developed from his acclaimed GS-R24 studio recording console. Known as GSPre, the preamplifiers offer exceptionally low noise and enormous headroom, and the warmth and depth for which Allen & Heath's analogue range is famous. For tonal shaping, MusiQ EQ's precise controls have been carefully calibrated for responsiveness and precision, making it easy to configure and enhance each musical source.

HARD ROAD

All ZED mixers are designed and manufactured to Allen & Heath's legendary rotary grade standards to ensure long life in the toughest environments. All channels are on individual vertical circuit boards and all rotary controls are secured to the front panel with a steel nut to protect against impact damage.

 

MADE FOR GUITARS

ZED-6 comes with two high-impedance Guitar DI jack inputs, allowing guitars to be connected directly to the mixer without the need for DI boxes. It's one less piece of equipment to buy, transport, and set up.
